I just stared at Gregory. He couldn't be serious could he? He told me that he had to go do something but would be right back. "If you'd like to clean up there's a bathroom through that door. There's a change of clothes you can wear in there also" And with that he left.
I looked down at what I was wearing and realized I was still in my soft green tank top and frog patterned pajama pants. I decided that while I waited I might as well be clean, so I went into the room he pointed to and turned on the shower. As I waited for the water I got undressed then got in. I rinsed off and saw some shampoo and used it to wash my long, mid back length black
Lethe had hoped that the shoes would melt overnight, but he woke up to find them just as sturdy as when he went to bed. Apparently Tal had a knack for parlor tricks as well, and if the situation had been different, Lethe would have been impressed by his skill. But for the moment, he could only see the shoes as the enemy and the gown as its accomplice in crime.
